Hello everyone,

I am organizing a lecture tonight, which I'm trying to record. The
lecture will be recorded through a wireless mic onto a laptop running
WinXP. What I need is some type of free audio recording app that can do
this. I don't want to grab something off of download.com(.com) just to
find out it dies in mid-lecture. Suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

I wonder if audacity would do? It is probably way overkill for what you
need, but that doesn't mean it won't do the job. And of course it is
free too.

Comes for windows and Linux and many others.
